The idea for Poodlesox began all the way back in 2002, when a sketchbook and a lot of downtime at the North American Irish Dance Championships led to drawing after drawing of Irish dancers in their gorgeous, glittering dresses. The drawings have improved and the dresses have changed dramatically, but the idea hasn't changed - letting each dancer and their dress shine in a unique and personalized way by creating an image after their own design. Poodlesox strives to let every Irish dancer express themselves in a fun, current, and stylish way in class, at feises, and on the go.

All Poodlesox designs, both custom and Off-the-Rack, are created using both traditional and digital media. Custom designs use both photos and detailed descriptions of the dancer to ensure that each image is a truly personalized portrait of the dancer. Once these designs are completed, there are put on apparel by CafePress, which uses brand names like American Apparel and Hanes. By using CafePress, more item choices can be available for every design, and new items can be ordered whenever you choose to. Your custom design is never deleted, so you can order any item at any time you like.

To get your own custom apparel, start by placing your order by clicking the ORDER button above. When your order is received, the process begins! By using the information in your order and a photo of your dancer in his or her dancing costume, Poodlesox creates an one-of-a-kind image of your dancer. Once your custom image is complete, you will receive a link to your own Poodlesox Shop webpage where your custom apparel is available for purchase. This webpage is available to YOU alone, so you'll never see another dancer wearing your design! Your store page will never expire and you can place an order whenever you like.
